North Stars snap Trappers winning streak

The Soo North Stars put an end to the Trappers season high eight game unbeaten streak with a 3-0 win at the John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie Saturday night.

Jerry Petingalo, Derrek Coccimiglio and Brad Dicandia scored for the league leading North Stars while Ryan Dube recorded the shutout.

The Trappers try to get back to their winning ways on Sunday afternoon as they take on the North Stars at 1 p.m.

In 33 games the North Stars have only two regular season losses and one came at the hands of the Trappers in North Bay back in October.
