The inaugural Canadian Pond Hockey Face-off pond hockey tournament still has a number of openings in various divisions.

The North Bay Skyhawks struggles continue as they dropped a 3-1 decision to the Abitibi Eskimos Tuesday night. The Skyhawks are in a downward spiral losing five straight for the first time this season.

The Canadore College Men's Indoor Soccer team came home with some hardware on the weekend. The Panther team finished second at the Seneca college tournament that took place on January 28th.

(North Bay) - The CFB Thunderbirds Swim Club is gearing up for the NEOR Dave Kensit Championships in Sault Ste Marie this weekend. A total of 18 T-Birds will swim 124 events and 10 relays.

The North Bay Bulldogs have released their 2006 schedule marking the 15th anniversary of the Northern Football League franchise which relocated from Brampton in 1991. Their home opener will be June 17th when they host the Toronto Maddogs.
