Trappers get a Major beating in Timmins
The North Bay Trappers were hammered 8-2 Saturday night at the McIntyre arena at the hands of the Timmins Majors. Kody Carnevale and Darcy Vaillancourt scored for the Trappers. Kory Cashabek and Bradley Norkum each had a pair of goals for the Majors.

The Nipissing Lakers dropped a 2-1 decision Saturday afternoon to the University of Toronto in OUA quarter-final action. U of T built a 2-0 lead after the first half and Cameron Culbert cut that in half for the Lakers.
