The North Bay Sports Hall of Fame will be holding its annual induction and awards banquet April 22 at the Best Western Hotel beginning at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $35 per ticket.

The cities Youth Ball Hockey league registration will conclude on Saturday at West Ferris arena. On Saturday kids interested in playing can sign up from 10 a.m. until noon at the local rink.

Omischl wins National Aerials Title

PENTICTON, B.C. – It wasn’t the type of Olympic season aerialist and North Bay native Steve Omischl wanted, but he still finished the season on a winning note at the Canadian freestyle ski championships Saturday.
