The West Ferris Hilltop Variety Bandits minor peewee AA hockey team competed in the Nickel Centre Minor Hockey Tournament over the past weekend. The Bandits started round robin play on Friday facing the Valley East Rebels.

The Canadore Panthers Men's and women's volleyball teams host their home openers this weekend at the Education Centre Gym when they take on the Niagara Knights and the Mohawk Mountaineers on November 23rd and 24th respectively.

The North Bay Hilltop Variety Bantam AAA Blades won all three of their games against the Timmins Liberty Mines Eagles on the weekend at West Ferris arena. In their first game Saturday, the Blades slipped by the Eagles 6-5 in overtime.

TORONTO – The Nipissing University Lakers volleyball squads suffered the same fate as they recorded a win against Sheridan but fell to division rival Humber College in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association weekend volleyball action.

The North Bay Girls Ice Boltz Pee Wee C Team attended the 16th Annual Barrie Sharkfest Hockey Tournament, held November 16th, 17th and 18th.

It was once again a successful weekend for the Widdifield Wildcats Volleyball program. The Widdifield Wildcats Junior Boy's Volleyball Team squeaked out a win at NOSSA after losing to Noter Dame in the round robin.
