Stats show city cops getting busier
Deputy Chief Shawn Devine says police statistics continue to show that the officers continue to be busy and call loads are increasing. The Deputy Chief made those comments Wednesday at the monthly Police Board meeting at Police headquarters.

UPDATED: Another sinkhole pops up (or is it down?)
Crews were busy Wednesday afternoon repairing another sinkhole. Nic Schiavone, Director of Public Works comfirmed to BayToday that repairs would continue tomorrow (Thursday) and that the street will be re-opened late Thursday afternoon.

Hydro One power outage
About 2,000 customers in Nipissing, South River, Machar, Laurier, Strong and Lount are swithout power this morning says Hydro One. The outage was reported around 10:30 this morning and trucks have been sent out to make repairs. The cause is unknown.
