ATTEMPT BREAK AND ENTER On July 14 shortly before 1 AM thieves attempted to enter the clubhouse at Osprey Links Golf Course in Callander. The alarm sounded and frightened off the thieves before they took anything.

MAN ATTACKS OFFICERS WITH KNIFE On July 10 shortly before midnight constables Peter Brunette and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a residence in the 3700 block of Highway 11 North within North Bay.

POLICE INVESTIGATING ROBBERY On July 7 at approximately 2 PM a woman was riding her bicycle on Regina Street at Worthington Street when she was approached by a young woman known to her as Sarah.

SEXUAL ASSAULT On July 4 at approximately 9 PM it is alleged that a man approached a group of younger people and asked a 13-year-old girl for a sexual favour.

UNRULY WITNESS On July 5 during the afternoon hours it is alleged that while testifying at a trial in North Bay, a female witness assaulted a man in the courtroom. The woman allegedly walked over to the man and spit on him.

STABBING INCIDENT BEING INVESTIGATED The North Bay Police Service is presently investigating an alleged stabbing incident that occurred at approximately 1 AM Sunday within a residence on Champlain Street.

ROBBERY A man entered Mac's Mart located at First Avenue and Cassells Street around noon Sunday and allegedly threatened the female cashier with a knife while demanding money. She complied and he left with the cash and some cigarettes.

WOMAN STRUCK WITH BAT On June 28 during the evening hours it is alleged that while a man and a woman drove within the city, an argument ensued. This argument escalated to the point where the woman took a bat and struck the man a couple of times.

MAN BEAT UP On June 25 a man became angry with another man known to him. He then allegedly commenced to assault him by punching and kicking him. When the victim fell to the floor he continued kicking him. This occurred within the city of North Bay.

STOLEN AUTO On June 23 during the afternoon hours a 15-year-old girl attended a business location with a spare set of keys to a vehicle. She took the vehicle and ended up in a fail-to-remain collision.
