Impaired Drivers Charged Over the weekend, four persons have been charged with impaired driving, one as a result of a minor motor vehicle collision. One driver also charged with driving while disqualified.

Bear Sightings Over a period of 10 ½ hours police responded to seven complaints of bear sightings in the city.

Break, Enter & Theft On Sept. 23 shortly after 8 am police responded to a break and enter at 392 Airport Road. It was alleged that a male person had forced his way into the residence causing minor damage and had removed property.

BREAK AND ENTER Between the hours of 9 AM and 9 PM on Sept. 21 thieves entered an apartment in the 600 block of Main Street W. They stole over 100 tablets of percocets.

SEAT BELT CAMPAIGN The North Bay Police Service wishes to advise the motoring public that it along with numerous other police services will be conducting a fall seat belt enforcement campaign. This will take place from Sept. 24 to Sept. 30.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT On Sept. 19 during the afternoon hours a man previously released on conditions not to go near a female victim allegedly did so.

STOLEN VEHICLE Overnight Sept. 19 thieves entered a residence in the 400 block of McIntyre Street E and stole keys to a vehicle. The vehicle that was parked in the driveway was then stolen. It is described as a 1999 4 door black Chev. Cavalier.

MAN WITH A KNIFE On Sept. 14 during the early evening hours it is alleged that a man attended another man’s residence in North Bay, and threatened him with a knife.

TWO YOUNG OFFENDERS ARRESTED On Sept. 4 Cst. Richard Hampel of the North Bay Police Service arrested two male young offenders in relation to a break and enter into a dwelling that occurred on July 13.

RE STABBING ON Sept. 11 A 20-year-old North Bay man has been charged following an alleged stabbing incident Sunday. Andrew BROADHEAD, of Carmichael Drive, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.
