Walters twins medal in Brockville
Matt and Nick Walters won gold and silver medals Sunday at the OTFA Legion Provincial Cross-Country Championships in Brockville on the weekend. The twin brothers were part of the North Bay Legion Track Club that attended the weekend event.

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears came out of the Raiderdome with a huge victory on Tuesday night. The visiting Bears slipped by the Raiders 50-46 to capture the NDA Senior Girls Basketball title; winning the best-of-three series 2-1.

Tornado's whirling through
The West Ferris Tornados won the Major Peewee AA championship at the Missisauga North Stars pre Christmas Tournament on Sunday. The tornados lost their opening game to the Gouldbourn Rams 3-1 but never looked back after that.
