Walkom new director of officiating

North Bay's Stephen Walkom will be leaving the ice and entering the board room after being named as the NHL's new director of officiating Wednesday.

Newton wins Pan Am silver!(updated)

Adam Newton, competing for Canada in the 4 x 100 meter relay, captured a silver medal at the Pan Am jr. games which took place this weekend in Windsor, Ontario.

Bulldogs blank Sudbury, finish season 4-4

The North Bay Bulldogs blanked the Sudbury Spartans 55-0 in the Smoke Stack City. With the win, the Bulldogs move into a tie with the Tri-City Outlaws (who won their game against Sault Ste Marie) with a 4-4 record and eight points.

It's a big weekend for North Bay's Adam Newton. The North Bay sprinter will be running at the Pan Am junior games in Windsor this weekend as a member of Canada's 4 x 100 meter relay team.
