The Nipissing Lakers hockey program will be naming its assistant coaches at a press conference on Friday morning at the University. Head coach Mike McParland has stated that its likely his assistants will come from the North Bay area.

Thunderbirds host first meet in a decade
Over the weekend the Thunderbird Swim Club hosted the NEOR #2 Developmental meet with 11 teams in attendance and 166 swimmers participating. It has been ten years since the Club has hosted a meet and it was a great success.
