The Burgess Family and the Sudbury Wolves organization have sold the Sudbury Jr. Wolves hockey club to Southern Ontario businessman Bill Scott. The transfer of the franchise took place late last week.

POWASSAN, ON - The Powassan Dragons won their third straight game avenging an 11-2 loss last week by topping the Jamestown Jets 7-6 at the Sportsplex on Saturday night. The loss was also the Jets first of the young GMHL season.

The North Bay Y Titans Swim club would like to thank the local businesses and North Bay and area residents who helped support our athletes. On Saturday, October 2, 2010 many of the club’s younger swimmers participated in our annual Tag Day.

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN - The Nipissing Lakers minus their top 2 lines and only 8 forwards were defeated soundly 11-0 by the Northern Michigan Wildcats.

The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers fell short in the shootout as they were defeated 5-4 at the hands of the Nickel City Sons on Sunday afternoon at West Ferris arena on Sunday afternoon.
