OTTAWA — Mark Stone tried something new on Saturday and it paid off. Stone scored his second goal of the game at 2:30 of overtime as the Ottawa Senators overcame a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 on Saturday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — In just his second game back after a nearly 10-month absence, Corey Crawford showed he is already in top form.

WINNIPEG — Jacob Trouba was glad to see some different names on the scoresheet Saturday. Tyler Myers, Josh Morrissey and Mathieu Perreault each recorded their first goals of the season as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Arizona Coyotes 5-3.

LOS ANGELES — Buffalo Sabres coach Phil Housley had to shake things up, shuffling his lines against the Los Angeles Kings an effort to revive an offence that was held to one goal in three of the past four games.
