Update Highway 11 now open
OPP say Highway 11 between Driftwood and Smooth Rock Falls was closed at 10 p.m. because of a motor vehicle collision, with a jack-knifed tractor trailer blocking roadway. Police say there is no detour and no timetable for re-opening the highway.

Pellet gun scare
A pellet gun shooting shocked some residents along Premier Road Christmas day. City police say it occured around 11;30 p.m. when a passing truck was hit by pellets. Police charged the gunman with mischief.
