The City of North Bay building permit numbers continue to remain strong and outpace last year, says a news release from Mayor Al Mcdonald. The City is at a construction value total of $44.5 million compared to $ 33.5 million last year at this time.

Motorists will have to sharpen their driving skills in the next few weeks as area students will be back in school. With the return of students to classes school buses will also be highly visible on area roadways says a news release from the OPP.

An effort to save home delivery, in the form of an information caravan, will be in North Bay next week. It's the Save Canada Post tour, and it will be stopping here.
