It's not too late to apply to Canadore College. The College has open spots in a number of its 65 full-time programs beginning this September.

Canadore provides industry-specific, career-driven programming that gives students the skills and knowledge they need to begin their career of choice. Learners can choose from quality programs in the following areas: Aviation; Business and Management; Community Justice and Police Studies; Culinary Arts; Environmental Studies and Biotechnology; Health, Human Care and Wellness; Indigenous Studies; Language, Access and Preparatory Studies; Media, Design and Dramatic Arts; Sport and Recreation; Trades and Technology.

This year, Canadore has launched five new programs for September 2011 in response to industry demand: Civil Engineering Technician, Mobile Application Development, Rural Recreation and two programs unique to the province - Indigenous Pre-Health Studies and Indigenous Preparatory Studies.

"We are excited to offer our learners flexible delivery options, dual diploma opportunities and the chance to transfer into university programs with advanced standing," said Shawn Chorney, Vice-President of Enrolment Management, Student Services and Recruitment. "These pathways allow our students to tailor their education to their current lifestyle demands, and make their academic experience more meaningful overall. University graduates may also receive advanced standing towards earning a Canadore diploma more quickly."

Canadore has over 36,000 alumni working across the province and around the globe. It provides access to over 65 quality full-time programs, outstanding faculty and student services, and also boasts the highest graduation rate of all of Ontario's 24 public colleges.
