Official nominations for the 2024 edition of the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards (NOMFA) have been unveiled by Cultural Industries Ontario North (CION), with over 50 projects, performances, and practitioners from Northern Ontario vying for top spots across 13 award categories.
Winners for each category will be revealed during the NOMFA 2024 Award Ceremony on June 29,at Place des Arts in Sudbury.

NOMFA is a biennial conference and award ceremony highlighting the artistic excellence achieved by musicians, filmmakers, and screen-based projects from northern Ontario. The 2024 edition of NOMFA – which celebrates works released between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2023 – marks a return to form for CION, which is thrilled to bring back this truly northern endeavour for the first time since 2019.
