Poilievre supporters launch northern 'Axe the Tax' campaign

Conservative MP Adam Chambers knocked on doors in North Bay to discuss the carbon tax and was joined by Cassidy Villeneuve, who will announce her candidacy to become the PC nominee for Nipissing—Timiskaming in the next federal election at an event on Saturday

Simcoe North MP and "Common sense" Conservative Adam Chambers met with the media in North Bay to kick off Pierre Poilievre’s Axe the Tax campaign for Northern Ontario. Chambers was named shadow minister of national revenue by the Leader of the Opposition in 2022.

The Conservative Party says it is highlighting the pressures North Bay residents and all Canadians are facing when it comes to their home heating bills because of Justin Trudeau’s punishing carbon tax.

Joining Chambers to knock on doors and discuss the carbon tax (see video) was Cassidy Villeneuve, who will launch her candidacy to become the Conservative nominee for Nipissing—Timiskaming in the next federal election at an event on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at École secondaire publique Odyssée.

Villeneuve was raised in North Bay.
