Between the 29th of July and the 1st of Sept. it is alleged that a woman falsely used another person’s debit card 10 separate times. The transactions totalled over $5000.
Cst. Steve Carleton of the North Bay Police Service investigated the call and arrested a suspect on the 21st of Sept.
Tasha SIMMONS 30 years old of Thelma Av. is charged with 10 counts of Theft as well as Unauthorized Use of Credit Card. She is to attend court on the 3rd of Nov.

DOG RETURNED

On Sunday the 20th of Sept. at approximately 5 PM the small long haired Chihuahua dog that had been stolen on the 19th of Sept. was located by a citizen on Highway 11 by the Callander turn off.
On Monday the 21st of Sept at approximately 8 PM after hearing about the theft on the media, the dog was turned over to officers of the North Bay Police Service.
The dog has now been returned to its owner.
