Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 211 calls for service that resulted in 14 arrests. Offences included assaults, domestic assaults, thefts, drug offences, breach of court orders and public intoxication.

Criminal Harassment
An investigation into a harassment complaint by a woman that was in a relationship with a man 6 years ago for 3months has resulted in the arrest of a 24 year old North Bay man. It is alleged that he kept bothering her by phone, the internet, at work and through her family. He was arrested on the 11th Nov and found to be in possession of marijuana, and a flick knife. He has been charged with criminal harassment, possession of marijuana, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of a prohibition order. Csts Blake Vietmeier and Steve Carleton investigated.

Traffic Complaint Leads to Drugs
A traffic complaint about a brown pickup truck speeding on Cedar Heights Rd W resulted in officers checking 3 males in a brown pickup parked at the dead end. A heavy smell of marijuana led to the location of a bong, 35 gms of marijuana, a flick knife, and a quantity of money. One 18 year old was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. A second 18 year old was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a prohibited weapon. A 17 year old was charged with possession of marijuana and given a youth referral.
