Homicide The North Bay Police are presently on the scene of stabbing that occurred on the 100 block of Main Street East in North Bay shortly before noon hour. One male has been taken into custody.

The North Bay Police are presently on the scene of stabbing that occurred on the 100 block of Main Street East in North Bay shortly before noon hour.  One male has been taken into custody. The male victim has succumb to his injuries and has been pronounced deceased at North Bay General Hospital.  The suspect and the victim were known to each other.

Police continue their investigation at this time.

Gary Thompson investigation:
 
On Thursday, November 14th Gary Thompson turned himself over to police without incident. 
 
Gary Thompson is charged with Dangerous Driving, Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, Utter Threat to Cause Death, Assault with a Weapon (2 counts) and Attempt to Commit Murder (2 counts). 
 
Gary Thompson is being held in custody on the aforementioned charges awaiting a bail hearing Friday, November 15th

Sexual Interference

A 23 yr old North Bay man has been charged with sexual interference and trafficking in a controlled drug in relation to a 15 yr old female.

Offences are alleged to have occurred since late Aug 2013.

He is being held in custody for a bail hearing. D/Cst Helen Boissonneault is investigating.
