The Nipissing Alouettes losing streak stretched to five games on the weekend. On Saturday night they dropped a 4-2 decision at the hands of the Toronto Moose in Toronto. Aaron Godon and Derek Cox scored for the Alouettes.

Tyler Hummel scored a pair of powerplay goals to lead the North Bay Trappers to a 5-1 victory over the Valley East Cobras on Saturday night at West Ferris arena.

Nick Kulas scored three times to lead the North Bay Skyhawks to a 6-4 road victory over the Abitibi Eskimos at the Jus Jordan arena in Iroquois Falls Saturday night.

Moe Mantha Jr. says he has heard nothing about the status of his bid to purchase the Mississauga Ice Dogs and move them North to North Bay for the start of the 2007-2008 OHL season.
