The Temiscaming Royals were busy at the trade deadline bringing a pair of 18-year-olds. The Royals got 5'10", 185 pound defenceman Jeff Lobman from the Collingwood Blues.

The West Ferris Senior Basketball team travelled to Cambridge this weekend to participate in the 21st annual Saints Invitational Classic. In their 1st game they played AAAA JF Ross from Guelph.

The Wildcat Sr. boys basketball team played extremely well in the St. Benedict's Invitational Tournament in Cambridge this past weekend. The Cats went deep into the Championship side of the 32 team tourney, finishing in the top 8 overall.

The Temiscaming Royals dropped their 9th straight in a 4-1 loss to the Soo Thunderbirds at the John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie Thursday night. Chris Hebert scored the lone goal in the 3rd period for the Royals.
