Youth Hockey Development Pre-Tryout Training Sessions

Youth Hockey Development will be hosting 3 sessions on Sunday, August 28th. The times are listed below:

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Youth Hockey Development coaches Gilles Seguin, Kevin Vescio and Mark McMahon are involved in coaching at the minor hockey level and the trio says they have been to many training camps throughout their careers.

"We like to think that we understand what coaches look for at a tryout," said Gilles Seguin.

"These sessions will be focused on all of the things that are important when your son or daughter are attending a tryout. Skating is essential, puck control, shooting and passing are also important."

"All sessions will have something to offer, we will do our best to group the not so advanced players together and try and keep the more accomplished players together as well," added Seguin.

Youth Hockey Development has also decided to expand its age range - taking players from the ages of 6 to 12 years old. Prior to now it was 6 to 10 years old.

As usual, there will be a free YHD Jersey given away at every session along with a free registration for an upcoming session.
