Wolves over Trappers

Kyle Lekun and Ryan Johnston had two goals each to lead the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves to a 6-4 victory over the North Bay Trappers at the Countryside arena in Sudbury on Saturday.

Pascal Seguin, Tyler Field, Mitchell Davis and Roch Pellerin scored for the Trappers who fall to 10-21-1 on the season.

The loss leaves the Trappers tied with Kapuskasing for 6th place in the Great North Midget League standings with 21 points. However, Kapuskasing has a game in hand on the North Bay team.

The Trappers will wrap up the regular season next weekend as they host the Sault Ste. Marie North Stars on Saturday and then they finish off the regular season with a matinee against the Nickel City Sons on Sunday.
