Wildcats win NOSSA

SUDBURY - Widdifield Wildcats Senior Boys soccer team are the 2009 'AAA" NOSSA soccer champions defeating the defending three year champions, Lockerby Vikings 3-2 on Wednesday here.

Adam Fielder scored 2 goals and Jesse Moreau added the other.

The Wildcats played stellar defence and goalkeeper Jordan Prud'Homme's game breaking slide save led to the eventual game winning goal.

As a result of the win, the Wildcats advance to the Senior Boys 'AAA' OFSSA Soccer Championships in Windsor June 4-6.
