The Widdifield Wildcats won their first four matches at the OFSAA AA Sr. Girls Volleyball championships taking place in Dryden on March 7th and 8th.

The Cats started the day winning two tight games, 25-23 and 25-23 against Clark High School from Newcastle. They won two straight; 25-9 and 25-21 over Hillcrest High School from Thunder Bay.

The Cats also won in two straight over Norwell from Palmerston 25-22 and 25-15.

The win basically clinched first in their pool but their winning wasn't done on this day as they easily defeated Mentor College from Mississauga 25-15 and 25-7.
