Wildcats blank Raiders and Bears thump Braves

Wildcats running back Tyler Willis scored a second quarter touchdown while Mike Costello added the insurance by scoring on a 85-yard punt return in the third quarter.

For the Wildcats they find the win column after dropping a close 9-0 decision to the Bears in the NDA Senior Football opener last Friday.

As for the Raiders, they fall to 0-2 on the season.

Bears maul Braves

In Sturgeon Falls the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears got the offence going as they blasted the Northern Braves 28-7.

The win moves the Bears into a first-place tie with the West Ferris Trojans at 2-0.

The struggling Braves fall to 0-2.
