With the pair of Trapper losses the Nickel City Sons were able to climb into a third place tie with the Trappers in the Great North Midget League. Both team's share the spot with 14 points on the season.

It's been a tough couple of weekends for the Trappers as they won only one of their four games the weekend before at Sudbury's Big Nickel Tournament.

The Trappers are back on the ice for a rare mid-week game in Sudbury as they visit the Nickel Capital Wolves on Wednesday night.

The Trappers return to the friendly confines of West Ferris arena Sunday as they take on the Nickel City Sons. Game time is 1:20 p.m.
