Trappers edged by Capitals

The North Bay Trappers dropped their fourth straight game losing 5-4 Sunday afternoon to the Sudbury Nickel Capitals. Vern Cooper led the way offensively for the Caps, scoring once and adding two assists for the second place Capitals.

Marc Senecal had a pair of goals for the Trappers with singles going to Joel Senecal and Matt Pepin.

The Trappers will open up the Great North Midget League playoffs this week as they take on the Timmins Majors.
