The North Bay Y Titans sent nine swimmers to compete at the Fred B Champs in Timmins this past weekend.


The North Bay Y Titans sent nine swimmers to compete at the Fred B Champs in Timmins this past weekend. All the swimmers achieved personal best times in their events with Andrew Bell, Max Giesler, Kristen Gough, and Daneill White landing in the top three finishes.

Bell and Giesler represented their age group well finishing with gold, silver and a bronze each.

White dominated the 100 metre butterfly bringing home the gold, as well as two silvers and 2 bronze in her other events.

Gough prevailed in the breaststroke pulling off 3 silvers in the 50, 100, and 200 metre breaststroke. Continuing to represent the Titans well and placing in the top ten were Kristen Lazarou, Holly Ryan, and Rochelle Leppert. Special mention goes out to Garrett Ryan who achieved personal best times in all his events and Kaytlin Legris for her great efforts.
