Titans in Etobicoke

Three members of the North Bay Y Titans, Dominique Bouchard, Jennifer Leckie and Bryanna Penno attended the 2008 Speedo Eastern Canadian Long Course Championships in Etobicoke on the weekend.

This meet brings together the top 600 swimmers from Manitoba to the Maritimes. The girls all posted personal best times on their way to several top 50 finishes.

Bouchard qualified for the finals in six events while achieving top ten finishes in both the 200M Backstroke and 100M Butterfly. Leckie made the finals for both the 50M Breaststroke and 100M Breaststroke on her way to two top 20 finishes.

Several Titan team members are in preparation for next weekends Fred Rams B Championship being held in Timmins.
