Skyhawks surprise Jr. Wolves

The North Bay Skyhawks scored five unanswered goals after being down 3-0 to beat the Sudbury Junior Wolves 5-3 Sunday night at Memorial Gardens.

Ken Peroff, Stephane Belanger, Ken May, Arron Assinewei, and Neil MacDonald each scored for the Skyhawks. Mike Lalande made 25 saves in the victory.

Specialty teams were key for the Skyhawks as they fired home four power play goals and one short-handed marker to complete the comeback.

The victory over the Wolves also completes and impressive week for the Skyhawks as they won all three games in a busy stretch which saw them play three games in four nights.
