Skyhawks don't forget Rememberance Day

The Skyhawks are preparing to host Opening Ceremonies at 6:46 p.m. to honour the Remembrance of all of the War Veterans in the North Bay District as well as recognizing all the current men and women serving Canada both here, at the 22 Wing, and around the world.

Working with Veteran’s Week officials, 22 Wing personnel and members of the Canadian Forces Recruitment Centre, the Skyhawks will pay tribute to all Canadian and US military by inviting the 22 Wing Flag Party and Canadian Forces member Lynn Barons singing our National Anthem. A number of the 22 Wing members and their families will be enjoying the game in the audience.

The Ceremonial Puck Drop for this evening will include Robert Studholme, World War II Veteran with the Royal Canadian Air Force, and Edmond Nicholson - World War II Veteran, and Veteran of the Korean War along with still serving Canadian Forces Private Nadine Fournier.

The Skyhawks invite the North Bay community to share in this celebration.
