Skater's Edge Novice AA Trappers win Silver Stick

During the weekend of 25-27 November, 2011 the Skaters Edge North Bay Trappers, Major Novice AA Team attended the 2011 Silver Stick Georgina Regional Qualifier in Georgina, Ontario.

The boys played an amazing tournament winning their first game against Stouffville Clippers 3-0, and their second game against Aurora Tigers 3-1. They then played the Georgina Blaze winning 4-2. This placed the Trappers in first place prior to the semi-finals.

The team then defeated the Clarington Toro’s 3-2 in overtime advancing them into the finals against the Vaughan Rangers Blue. The boys played hard and won 2-0. It was an amazing weekend of hockey!! Congratulations to the coaches and the team.

The Trappers now advance to the International Silver Stick Tournament in Michigan in January 2012 – good luck boys.. bring home the gold!
