Skater's Edge heading to finals

Skater’s Edge will now meet Boston Pizza in a best-of-three final series, which starts Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Nick Gordon and Jim Daly had key RBI hits for Skater’s Edge, who led 4-3 in the fourth inning and tacked on an insurance run in the top of the seventh in front of more than 80 spectators in the stands.

O’Kane closed the door for the final four innings, pitching in relief of starter Justin Roy.

Miguel Champagne and Dale Valade split pitching duties for the Stingers. Champagne added a double in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Stingers loaded the bases.
