Russia vs. OHL in Sudbury

NORTHERN ONTARIO HOCKEY FANS will have the opportunity to watch the BEST PLAYERS in the ONTARIO HOCKEY LEAGUE go head-to-head with the RUSSIA SELECTS on Monday, November 26th at the SUDBURY ARENA.

Wolves Coach/GM MIKE FOLIGNO will be the assistant to Team Canada Head Coach Craig Hartsburg when they lead TEAM ONTARIO against the best junior players from Russia.

“Fans will see some outstanding international hockey at the Sudbury arena,” said Wolves Coach/GM Mike Foligno.

“I am looking forward to assisting Craig in coaching TEAM ONTARIO against a Russia team which will feature their top players from their WORLD JUNIOR team. We certainly look forward to putting another notch on the international hockey belt for CANADA,” adds Foligno.

Hockey fans will have a unique opportunity to see JOHN TAVARES play in his second international series. TAVARES will be joined by Oshawa teammate BRETT MACLEAN. Other OHL star players that will play in Sudbury include top NHL PROSPECTS: STEVEN STAMKOS, DREW DOUGHTY and ALEX PIETRANGELO - to name a few.

TEAM OHL goaltenders include Peterborough’s TREVOR CANN and Columbus Blue Jacket and London Knight goaltender STEVE MASON.

Here are the remaining OHL stars that will comprise TEAM ONTARIO when CANADA meets RUSSIA in the ADT CHALLENGE right here in Sudbury on Monday, November 26th. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
