BLIND RIVER - The Temiscaming Royals battled back from a 3-0 first period deficit to even things up but the Blind River Beavers countered with 3 unanswered goals in the third period en route to a 6-3 victory over the Royals Saturday night.

Chris Hebert, Brad Clark and Clayton Happyjack scored for the Royals.

Scott Armstrong and Tyler Liukkonen led the Beavers attack with 2 goals each.

Mike Mesaros made 26 stops in goal for the Royals who fall to 10-12-2 on the season.

The Royals are back in action on Sunday as they visit the Manitoulin Islanders in a rare game played in Wikwemikong. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
