Royals edged by Eskis

IROQUOIS FALLS, ON - Richard Therrien and Preston Lacasse had 2 goals each to lead the Abitibi Eskimos to a 8-6 win over the Temiscaming Royals on Wednesday night at the Jus Jordan arena.

The difference for the Eskis was the second period where they poured 5 goals past both starter Mikell Bilodeau and Matt Zawadski who suffered the loss.

Griffen Hodges scored 2 goals for the Royals. Robin Mendelsohn, Jean-Michel Naud, and Josh Blacksmith had the other goals for the 9-8-3 Royals.

Josh Clancy, Jordan Delaurier, Kevin Ratte, and Joel Roy had the other goals for the Eskis who improve to 8-11 on the season.
