In NDA junior soccer action this evening, the West Ferris Trojans were home to the Algonquin Barons at the Trojan Alumni Complex.

The Trojans got on the board first through a cross from Scott Pawson which a Barons defender attempted to clear, but the result was an own goal.

Nearing the end of the first half, Pawson was awarded a penalty kick after being taken down inside the penalty area, and he promptly notched his second of the contest.

The Barons came out strong in the second half after being down 2-0, and Patrick Rochefort narrowed the gap early in the half. Ten minutes later, Pawson was at it again, and he earned his third of the game on a beautiful cross from Trent Robinson. The Trojans rounded out the scoring with just seconds remaining as Justin Bishop buried the ball past the Barons goalkeeper after a small scramble inside the penalty area. The final whistle blew after Bishop's goal with the Trojans earning a 4-1 victory.
