The Franco-Cité Patriotes earned their first win of the young NDA hockey season beating the Chippewa Raiders 5-3 on Saturday night in Sturgeon Falls.
The Franco-Cité Patriotes earned their first win of the young NDA hockey season beating the Chippewa Raiders 5-3 on Saturday night in Sturgeon Falls. Nicolas Deschatelets, Patrick Miron, Patrick Desjardins, Pierre Séguin and Jacques Serré scored for the Patriotes. Desjardins and Serré also chipped with an assist each. Matt Caruso, Adam Laronde and Tory Unger replied for the Raiders. Unger also added an assist while Tyler Domanico chipped in with two helpers. Patrick Beaudry got the win in goal for the Pats while Mitch Thomas took the loss for the Raiders who fall to 0-2 on the season. The win improves the Patriotes record to 1-0-1.
