Patriotes double Braves

In an all Sturgeon Falls match up, Franco-Cité Patriotes senior girls basketball team defeated the Northern Braves by a score of 55 to 27. The Northern Braves came out strong with full court pressure that kept the first quarter close.
In an all Sturgeon Falls match up, Franco-Cité Patriotes senior girls basketball team defeated the Northern Braves by a score of 55 to 27. The Northern Braves came out strong with full court pressure that kept the first quarter close. After the first 8 minutes of play, the Patriotes led 16 to 10. Franco-Cité picked up the intensity on the defensive end of the floor, holding the Braves at only 6 points per quarter for the remaining of the game. The Patriotes offense was led by France Louiseize with 18 points, Valérie Levac and Jessie Bélanger with 14 points each. Brianna Willard led the Braves with 8 points in the game.

The Braves next game is against the Trojans at West Ferris on Thursday and Franco-Cité Patriotes leave for Ottawa to participate in a tournament on the weekend.
