Olivier leaves Trappers

North Bay Trappers forward Jamie Olivier has left the Midget AAA team. Olivier had one goal and five assists totaling six points in seven Great North Midget League games this season.

Olivier had one goal and five assists totaling six points in seven Great North Midget League games this season.

Last year the North Bay Trappers forward scored six goals in 33 regular season games with the local Midget AAA's.

Olivier was taken in the 15th round, 281st overall by the Erie Otters in last spring's OHL Draft.

The speedy forward is expected to join former Trappers Matt Pepin and Graham Loyst with the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears high school hockey team.
