It’s a big week in the world of NOSSA hockey.

North Bay is the host of the NOSSA A/AA tournament this week. The West Ferris Trojans who lost in the NDA final to the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears will be taking part in the event taking place at Memorial Gardens along with the much improved Widdifield Wildcats.

The finals take place Wednesday night at Memorial Gardens. The two local clubs will lock horns at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night during the round robin event.

Meantime, the NDA boys hockey champs ths St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears are in Sudbury looking to take home NOSSA 'AAA' gold.

The 'AAA' final will also take place Wednesday night in Sudbury.

Last week the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears girls hockey team made it all the way to the NOSSA 'AAA’ final in Walden only to fall 5-2 to L’Horizon in the final. Melissa Diggles scored twice for the NOSSA silver medalists.
