Pete Palangio Arena was a buzz of activitiy Sunday afternoon as the North Bay Police swarmed the ice for a couple of friendly games against the North Bay North Stars special needs hockey team. The police team was definitely kept in line as Police Chief Paul Cook came out to referee the game. It was a lot of fun for both players and spectators as the Senior team pulled off a win with a score of 5-4. The junior team managed a close game finishing in a 7-7 tie.
The North Stars really appreciate the extra experience that comes from playing community groups such as the North Bay Police.
