Heading to the Hall

It's a big weekend for North Bay's Mike Brideau. Brideau was chosen as The Greatest Canadian Hockey Fan through an on-line contest sponsored by Lay's earlier this year.

Brideau will fly out of North Bay Saturday morning and will attend an autograph session with Hockey greats Jean Beliveau and Dave Keon at the Hockey Hall of Fame in downtown Toronto as well as taking part in "Tales of the Cup" put on by Keeper of the Cup Phil Pritchard and a guided tour by Ron Ellis of the Hockey Hall of Fame itself.

The Hall of Fame induction which will include hockey legend Patrick Roy will take place on Monday night.

Guillemette scores!

North Bay's Ann-Renee Guillemette, normally a defenceman, was moved up to forward and scored her first goal of the season and third of her career for the Yale Bulldogs in a 4-3 OT loss recently to the Colgate Raiders.
