The Algonquin Barons used an effective ground game, scoring 6 touchdowns in the ground game as they defeated the Northern Braves 40-19 in NDA Jr. Boys Football action on Thursday.
Wanya Bessette and Mitchell Ouellette had two rushing touchdowns each for the Barons. Eric Lapointe recorded another rushing touchdown and scored on a 2 point conversion.
Nicholas Weiszhaar had 2 rushing touchdowns for the Braves. Alex Gendron had the other touchdown for the Braves.
