NDA hockey semifinals set

The FJ McElligott Voyageurs completed the first round upset by defeating the defending NDA champion Algonquin Barons 3-2 Saturday night to win the best-of-3 NDA quarterfinal 2 games to one.

The FJ McElligott Voyageurs completed the first round upset by defeating the defending NDA champion Algonquin Barons 3-2 Saturday night to win the best-of-3 NDA quarterfinal 2 games to one.

Upsets continued on Saturday as the regular season basement dwellers from Widdifield completed their upset beating the number two seed West Ferris Trojans 6-4 to win the best-of-3 NDA quarterfinal 2 games to one.

The two upsets mean the first place St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears will host the Widdifield Wildcats in one semifinal, while FJ McElligott will clash with the Chippewa Raiders.
