One day after suffering a loss at the hands of the West Ferris Trojans, the Franco-Cité Patriotes got back in the win column as they toppled the Northern Braves 7-2 at the Sturgeon Falls Arena on Saturday evening.

Nicolas Proulx, Jean-Philippe Primeau and Mathieu Trottier each scored twice for the winners while Mathieu Ouellette added a single. Mathieu Piquette and Adam Penner scored for the Braves.

Ricky Guay picked up the win in goal while Kris Rivard took the loss. Both teams are back in action on Tuesday as they meet again at the Sturgeon Falls Arena. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
