NDA Basketball - Bears outlast Lady Trojans

The Lady Trojans hosted the Scollard Hall Bears at West Ferris gym on Tuesday night in NDA Sr. Girls Basketball play. The game was played at a high level of intensity by both teams.
The Lady Trojans hosted the Scollard Hall Bears at West Ferris gym on Tuesday night in NDA Sr. Girls Basketball play. The game was played at a high level of intensity by both teams. Full court pressure was put on by both the Lady Trojans and the bears throughout the game. The final outcome was a win for the Bears 61-49, setting up a First place tie-breaker game vs Algonquin Barons on Thursday october 29th. Time and location to be announced by the NDA convenor.

Game highlights had multiple players from both teams scoring double digits - from the Lady Trojans Lucy Millar and Sarah pledge each scored 14 and Kally Watmore added 11 points. From the Bears, Tristan Tremblay had 20 points, 12 in the final quarter to ice their win. Robyn Degagne and Jaime Udeschini each added 11 points. Udeschini also rebounded well.

Jen Leckie, Katie Sargent, and Katelyn Zen lead the trojans in rebounding.

Lady Trojans' season record is 10-4 putting them in 3rd place and will play the loser of Thursday's tie-breaker game between the Barons and Bears who both ended their season 12-2.

Playoffs begin on tuesday November 3rd, time and gyms to be announced by the convenor on October 30th.
