KIRKLAND LAKE, ON - Dylan Staples had 2 goals and 1 assist but it wasn't enough as the North Bay Midget AAA Trappers dropped a 5-3 decision to the last place Kirkland Lake Legion 87's on Sunday afternoon.
Brandon Lamothe, Brandon Booth, Cam Moffat, Jordan Turbide and Tyler Carroll scored for the 87's who pull within 1 point of the 7th place Trappers.
Scott Pawson had the other goal and 1 assist for the visiting Trappers.
The Trappers are back in action on December 19th when they host the Kapuskasing Flyers.
